Hexpress Healthcare was founded in 2001. As with many businesses, it all started with a passing thought. Our founders and their friends, a pharmacist and a doctor, were discussing the future of healthcare and how it could be made more accessible, whilst providing discretion for more sensitive conditions. They believed this could be best achieved by creating an online doctor and pharmacy service. At the time, this was a pretty revolutionary idea!
A year later, in 2002, this became a reality. After extensive research, late nights and plenty of caffeine, we launched the first online doctor and pharmacy service in the UK. It was hard work, with the small team working together as customer service, couriers, and project leaders.
In 2005, the company expanded into seven new countries. Since then, we have focused on building a competent, multilingual and passionate team that knows you and what you need as a patient.
We believe in personal contact and personalised care. It is therefore incredibly important for us to have customer service representatives for every market - that way, you can access hands-on advice whenever you need it. People are the key to success. So as we expanded, our team of doctors and medical advisers expanded too.
