ellaOne (ulipristal acetate)

ellaOne is an emergency contraceptive pill that can be taken up to 5 days after sex (120 hours) to protect you against pregnancy. It’s thought to be up to 98% effective at preventing pregnancy; only 2 in every 100 women who took ellaOne during clinical trials became pregnant. Although it is effective for longer than the standard morning after pill, ellaOne is still more effective the sooner you take it.
