Cerazette is a widely used form of contraception that carries a high success rate. Unlike other progestin-only pills, Cerazette offers full protection by preventing the egg cell from ripening, making it a highly effective contraceptive. A main benefit Cerazette has it that it can be used by certain groups of women; those who do not tolerate oestrogens; women who are breast feeding; and women aged 35 and above.
When taken correctly, Cerazette prevents pregnancy more than 99% of the time. This means that in any given year, less than one in every 100 women will fall pregnant while using this form of contraception. Its use differs from the standard pill in that a tablet is taken each day throughout the menstrual cycle. There is no need for a pill-free week each month.
This contraceptive pill, which is suitable for most women to use, can be ordered online today at 121doc. You simply need to complete a short medical questionnaire set by one of our registered doctors. The order process is confidential and free of charge. It takes only a few minutes to complete, after which you will receive an order summary by email.
The Cerazette contraceptive pill works to prevent pregnancy in two ways. As with the combined oral contraceptive pill, Cerazette prevents eggs from ripening in the ovaries. This contraceptive also thickens the mucus at the entry to your womb, which makes it difficult for sperm to penetrate and reach an egg for fertilisation to take place.
Take the first Cerazette pill on the first day of your period for immediate protection. Some women choose to take Cerazette on days 2–5 of their period, but an additional barrier method of contraception must also be used for the first 7 days of tablet taking.
Try to settle into a routine of taking your pill at around the same time each day, in the morning or in the evening after brushing your teeth. If you miss taking a pill, or take your pill more than 12 hours late, then you may not still have full protection against pregnancy.
When you complete a strip of pills start your next strip straight away. If you do not start a new strip of pills then you will not be protected against pregnancy.
Its important to know that not all women can take the Pill. Cerazette may not be prescribed to you if any of the following conditions affect you:
You should also inform the doctor if you have diabetes, high blood pressure or any type of cancer before using Cerazette. If the doctor feels that any of the above health issues are cause for concern, an alternative branded mini pill may be suggested.
This pill is a popular choice of contraception for many women, although there is a small possibility that side effects will affect some users. Reported side effects by women who have used Cerazette include:
It is important that you tell your doctor if you develop any side effects or reactions, even if you are not sure whether or not they may be related to Cerazette.
You can receive your Cerazette tablets within 24 hours of placing an order online. Its more straightforward than you may think; simply choose your quantity of tablets from the price table and proceed to the confidential medical questions.
